Petco does not currently offer a flat rated teacher discount in their stores or online.
However, if you are looking to add a pet to your classroom, look no further! Petco offers grants for pets for Pre-K through 8th grade classrooms through the Pet Care Trust.
Through the cooperation of Petco and the Pet Care Trust, your classroom could have the ability to get everything it needs, including all of the pet supplies, to take care of this new addition.
If you are unsure whether or not adding a creature to the classroom would be a good fit, take a look at Petco’s Pets in the Classroom page to see what other teachers are saying about the program. Through this program, teachers will receive a starter kit for the classroom which includes:

How to Get your Petco Teacher Discount
While looking over the Pets in the Classroom page, you will be able to click on the link available to apply for the grant through Pets in the Classroom. Here you will setup an account and fill out an application to receive your starter kit.
