With historical artifacts, exhibits, tours of facilities, and even visits with astronauts, any space enthusiast would be in heaven here!
With so many exhibits and attractions, it would be no surprise that the Kennedy Space Center has been a booming tourist attraction, and you can be sure that any teacher who went anywhere near the place wanted to stop in. Since there is so much to see and learn about anyone with a thirst for knowledge would want to take a trip, and as it is an educational attraction, does the Kennedy Space Center offer teacher discounts?
Does Kennedy Space Center Have a Teacher Discount?
Yes, Kennedy Space Center does offer a special for teachers at their facility, however, eligibility is very limited. Kennedy Space Center offers the Educator Study pass to teachers in Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. This pass gives teachers complimentary access to the visitor complex. As of this time, there are no other teacher discounts, however, keep a check on their website for any special offers that may become available.
How To Get Your Kennedy Space Center Teacher Discount
If you are an active teacher in Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico or U.S Virgin Islands don’t forget to take advantage of your Educator Study Pass for complimentary access to the visitor complex. You will be asked to present one of the following at Will Call at the entrance:
- Active Teaching Certificate
- Active badge with your photo that shows your teaching or educator title
- Letter on school letterhead that is signed by the principal listing the names of the teachers attending the field trip.

About the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is located on 40 acres of the Kennedy Space Center, an activation NASA Operating Field. The Visitor Complex is operated by NASA contracted Delaware North, and is completely funded by visitor-generated revenue. No US tax dollars are used by the Visitor Complex. The Complex is a Smithsonian Affiliate and offers artifacts from the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo and Space Shuttle Programs in exhibits and attractions.
